Side Rails for Gator Box

I ws thinking of putting some side rails on my Gators dump box. Nothing real tall, just to the height of the front section. Anyone seen something like this? If I make them myself, what would be the best thing to make them out of - wood or metal.
They wouldn't be to hold in a lot of weight, just give me a little more on the sides to keep stuff from falling out.
